Are you one of the coffee addict? I'm!

I can't remember when i started addicted to coffee, if i remember correctly it should be after i started working. We used to have group breakfast in the company cafeteria and there were time i ordered myself the coffee or sometimes i got it from the vending machine. One of my aunt is also coffee addict, she told me that a day without a coffee will make her headache...haha, that's really funny. For me, i only limit myself to a cup of coffee a day because i realise too much caffeine are no good. Well, i think most people know that caffeine not only exist in coffee but also other foods like chocolate and soft drinks like Coke/Pepsi..etc.

Where's the world most expensive coffee? Not from Brazil or Jamaica, but it is from Indonesia! In Indonesia, there is this animal called Common palm civet (Kopi luwak is the local name). The civet eats the raw red coffee beans and then digests the soft outer part of the coffee cherry, while leaving the inner beans intact. Then it excretes them. The most expensive coffee beans can go to up to $700/pound or $60/cup. OMG, that's too much for me, i think i better go with my regular Nescafe or Starbuck will do.

Typhoon Megi coming

Typhoon Megi, believes to be the strongest typhoon for the year is expected to come. It has cleared Philippines and now heading to China. I read the news last night that the typhoon has damaged the rice crops in Philippines badly, oh poor. I just ran the weather forecast and seems Shenzhen will be affected between 21~23 Oct, so likely there will be heavy downpour.

Weather is less hot these days, at night there's always windy and i think we are soon approaching autumn. I really wish it comes sooner.

Amazingly i can access to blogspot today, haha....today must be a lucky day i guess.

I think i last blogged in May, that was during our trip to Singapore. Now is Oct, it has already been 5 months, a lot of things happens and many changes. For instance, Rachel has already enrolled to kindergarten for nearly 2 months, and we just back from Malaysia for our regular home visit last week. Brought my mum and mother-in-law back with us and they gonna stay here till mid Jan next year i guess, a long stay for both them. These 2 old ladies are "problematic" for me, my mum is typical poor memory, the thing i told/show her today she would forget about it tomorrow, but she is good in cooking and house chores. My in-laws on the other hand is typical potato couch, she would rather sit on the couch the entire day to watch tv and keep to herself.

We were in HK yesterday to visit Dino's newborn baby, she is so lovely, if i remember her name correctly then it should be Alexis, 6.6 pounds. She sleeps almost the whole day when we were there, just wake up for milk feeding then she continue her sleep...haha, very lovely. Looking at her made me think of what Rachel was like when she was just born. I forgot to snap a photo of the baby, too bad.

Happy Mother Day to all the mothers!

Today is the 2nd day we are in Singapore, all three of us woke up pretty late this morning around 11am...hehe. After we get ready to go out, our first stop was scheduled to be in Orchard Road for lunch and shopping. Today is Sunday + Mother Day, so Orchard Road is filled with people walking around, very crowded. Our lunch was set to be in TGIF, the food are food, i hate my all time favourite Salmon Pasta, while hubby has California Club, and Rachel too has her own kid's meal ~ Fish & Fries. After we checked the bills, the waiter serve us 2 small cups of icecreams (caramel & moccha) and we were like surprised because we didnt order the dessert. She was telling this is complimentary for the mother as today is Mother Day....ohhhhh...how sweat and surprise....hehe, i like it!

After food we stopped at Paragon for some shopping, i didnt get myself anything but we got Rachel a few things. I just mainly walked into a few stores like Longchamp, Coach..etc to check on the prices to see if it will be good bargain to get them in Singapore, but likely not. May be i should wait till the duty free shopping at Changi Airport on Tues.

After shopping we were heading to Sentose Island for fun and games. We were late so we only have around 2 hours to get around so we decided to explore Universal Studio because that should be more enjoyable for Rachel. We have really enjoyed ourselves with some fun games like Dino, car rides, horse riding...etc. Before we back we managed to snap photo together with one of the cartoon character "Woody woodpecker" but Rachel was so terrified and reluctant.

We back to hotel for change and shower before heading out for dinner, we walked around and finally we choose the Korean food for dinner, the food serving portion are huge thus we are damn full. Oh i am feeling guilty again :(

In Singapore...

We took AirAsia flight departing LCCT to Singapore, we were suppose to fly around 7:40pm but unfortunately the flight was delayed till 9pm....i hate it! Rachel is having light fever, i think she didnt have much water these days, really worrying abt her, need to monitor her temp regularly.

We arrived Changi Airport around 9:45pm, the custom clearance and baggage claims were fast, thanks God. Reached hotel at 10:10pm, really tiring but Rachel was excited seeing the bath tub again, she told me she wanna "swim" in there.

Tomorrow plan to go to Sentosa to explore the fun and games, to be updated.

KLCC shopping

Everytime coming to KL sure have to go around for shopping, from KLCC to Pavillion ..etc and other than that is food, been longing for the local food for months. When i ate too much food i will be feeling guilty but i can't resist not having food like nasi lemak, tomyam, laska everytime i back. I just had a big bowl of laksa last night...hehe, yummy...

We were at KLCC for lunch today as hubby wanted to meet with his 2 friends. After food i took Rachel to ToyRus for toys selection while they have their drink while chatting. Rachel spent 2 hours there hanging around and was exciting to see different toys around her. I am like the "ah sei" serving her left and right, oh...when i think of i will be slave for next 20 years i am sad again....hehe.

Later will meet with hubby friend and his family for dinner...eat again ? Yah, other than eat and shop what else we could do in KL?

We took AirAsia departing Shenzhen to LCCT this morning and arrived around 3:10pm. We were feeling excited to be back but this round we do not back in Lunas, so i called back to grandma to have short chat with her, She was rather surprised when i told her i was calling from KL....haha. We lodged into Impiana KLCC Hotel this time, gonna stay for 2 nights as hubby needs to get his visa done on Friday. We will leave KL on Saturday evening to Singapore, our next destination. Well this is his business trip but for me and Rachel, this is our 'vacation' trip after hubby couldnt make it for the Korea trip as i planned earlier.

More to be updated soon, i cant wait to write something on blogger and login to my FB as i cant accessed for months in China, pissed me off.

Rest in peace, Uncle Ho

Last night received shocking news from brother that my Uncle Ho has passed away after ending his months battle with cancers. Talked over the phone with him and mum as well and i could feel mum was crying so badly because she lost her beloved brother. I feel sympathy and sad for the loss because my uncle still has 2 kids and they are still very young, my aunt has to raise them up by herself from now on. Before i sleep last night, many past memories actually flashed back in my mind and i was asking myself it that happens to me one day, what would happens to Rachel? Oh, no answer as i am not dare to further think about it.

Uncle Ho, may your soul ever rest in peace, my thoughts will be with you in my future prayers. I also hope the rest family will be strong although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow.

CNY 2010

We didn't back for CNY 2009 as we decided to spend in China, so CNY 2010 is a "must back" trip. This year the aunt has came out with the idea of each family prepare a dish rather than grandma has to prepare 8~9 courses to serve >40 peoples in the house. I like this idea because this is fair and square, if you want to eat then bring your food...hehe.

I back to Lunas on CNY night, seeing all the foods serving on tables made me hungry. Before i could enjoy the food my priority task is to giving away the Ang Pows for the relatives la....married liao, have to give ang pow. Next thing is to enjoy the foods while papa helped us to look after Rachel, she was excited chasing around the little dog in the house. Hour later the cousins play the firecrackers but Rachel was too scare to take a look so she hide in the room to play with Albert, they both seems good mates for each others.

2nd day of CNY was in Jusco for some shopping and later in the evening was the photo hunting session by Ling and TN. They both are now the photo fans, we stopped at the temple to snap some good shots and pray for blessings. The night was really enjoyable when we decided to go supper @ Nasmir. We have chatted a lot, that's the part i really enjoy myself spending time with bro and cousin sisters, we chat from A-Z, so much to talk and i think that's the way we know each other better thru the conversations. We back home around 1:30am!!

Ling and i had long chat again on the 3rd night, we talk about the child, life..etc. I think i lost my voice mainly because i was talking so much, so KPC but i really enjoy the moments spending with family members. I like go to grandma room to spend little time chatting with her as she would tell me many things too.

Another day to go before back in China, i have started to pack my things, i hate packing because i would be start thinking what to leave here and what to bring back. Oh, something happened this morning, Jenny the dog has gave birth to 4 little puppies! One dead, and now 3 surviving....

Coming home soon

A week to go before we back in Malaysia, very much looking forward and excited to see all the families and friends.
The plan is to stopover KL on 7~9 Feb before back home as we need to get the visa done. I'm now counting down the days as i can't wait to start my shopping spree in KL....hehe, shopping is always a great therapy for a woman, don't you know that? I wanna get myself dress, shoes, bags..etc, and of cause not forgetting my little one, she has more priority!! I think when hubby see this blog, he would be sad as his wallet will be start to "bleed" cause he did mentioned to me that all the shopping will be on him......hooray!!!!! I love that line!!!!! And i love you too, honey!!!!

The weather these days are pretty much warmer than before, imagine yesterday it was up to 25c at end winter/beginning of spring? Ya, yesterday i was wearing my sandal out after i kept them in the shoe rack for almost couple months. I love the warm weather but that doesn't mean i love the sun as hot as in summer day, i hate it when i sweat all the times.

Coming sunday we will be flying to KL and stay in Sheraton Hotel, Rachel will enjoy her swimming activities in the pool while i can start prepare my shopping list...thinking where to shop now........................

Late wish for Happy New Year!

I know i am late for the wishing everyone Happy New Year because i almost forgot about updating my blog since China has blocked the access. It is so hard to get successful login after endless of attempts trying, feeling tired! I almost forgot what's my login and password, forgive me for my poor memory as i am getting 1 year older...HEHE.

What i been doing these days? Not much, i'm still go on with my life with my little one and hubby here in China. We have moved into another apartment since Nov last year, the environment is much better and more facilities, but of cause the rental is slightly higher than previous one.

Together with TN, we been to Kunming (YUNAN province) for domestic travel during X'mas holidays after our initial plan to Chiangmai, Thailand been called off. I did not really enjoy the trip because of the weather, it wasn't too cold but the air is too dry for us, especially for Rachel as every night she would wake up crying for dried throat and warm in the room. Poor baby....

Booked the ticket back to Msia for CNY, but before back home we need to stopover KL for the visa application. Well, i think that's good because we could enjoy some CNY shopping in KL, i am very much looking forward for it. Buy clothes, shoes...etc, of cause not only for myself but mainly for Rachel.

These days the temp chart is much like the share market trend, going up and down like crazy. Global warming has really impacted worldwide climate change, sigh! Human has to pay for the price for it.

Last, wishing everyone i know a very happy new year, hope 2010 would be a better year and stay cool!

When i thought i could actually access Facebook or Blogger with the installed software, i was wrong! The program only work 1 night for me and then it shows errors after that. I got no choice but have to access via the proxy filter website, damn!!!!! Kek si wa!!!!

What happened lately? Nothing much except we will be preparing to move to new apartment as my present landlord (very nice oldman) wanted to sell off his apartment. The new apartment is actually next block to my current place, i think this will make the move more easily and convenience. After staying in China for 4.5 years i realize i have a lot of stuff to pack, now i already pack 8 big boxes, more to come. I need a hand!!!!

Recently i found i am much obsessed to OWL....ya, you heard me right! Owl, i just found a very cute owl design ring from Forever 21....hehe, thinking to get one.

Oh, X'mas is coming, where to go for the vacation? I'm still thinking, do you have any idea?

Finally get access

Hooray, today i finally found a solution for me to access Facebook and Blogger without the help of proxy filter sites again, plus it didn't work well sometimes. If you think China government has lifted the ban then you are definately wrong, once something is banned, it will be forever.

Somone posted on the forum saying there's a executable file and once installed it will configure itself with IE, and it works amazingly! Now i can do my regular blogging and going to Facebook and add more photos to share with friends and family. Good thing for a good day!

Music Class

Rachel has her music class today after a long break for a month more as we back in Msia for vacation. The teachers are very happy to see her and i think she feels exciting again about her music lesson.

The music class usually begins with singing "hello song" to welcome everyone followed by self introduction where the kids needs to tell everyone your name, age and sex. Today Rachel is the first one who did the self introduction but as i would expect she can't really talk so she just clap her hands and bow her head after the introduction (I did for her). That's good enough for me as i really can't expect more, i know thing won't change over a night. She still need times to get through her speech development as every kids has different growth and development.

Teacher has introduced some new songs and musical instruments for them to practice, she seems quite well behave, thanks God. There were times where she can't really sit quietly and running around the class, nightmare! After 1 hour lesson, teachers were playing with her as she like to play the hide and seek game. Teachers were tired but Rachel wanted more...hahaha. Poor poor......

Back in China

Yesterday was a very tiring day as we have to wake up extremely early in the morning at 3am to prepare to leave Lunas to Penang Airport around 4am. Rachel didn't enjoyed good sleeep so she wake up after 30 mins and play around her favorite toys for last time. Mum and grandma were wake up to check if we wanted to take any meal before heading to airport, but it was too early for us to eat anything. Taxi arrived around 4am and time to say goodbye to them, Rachel kissed grandma and mum before we leave, feeling sad to leave them again.

It takes 30 mins to reach Penang airport, after check in our luggage we decided to have early morning breakfast at McD, Rachel likes the fillet and eggs. We booked our return flight with AirAsia, i remember we booked it around July and we managed to get the super saver pack which only cost us RM450 for 3 of us, a good deal as we saved a lot. It departed Penang at 6am and arrived HK Airport at 9:40am. We took the private car back to Shenzhen, we reached home around 12pm. First thing is to call back home to tell them we have arrived home safely, first thing Rachel did when she step in home is to ride on her small bike and second thing she took out the broom and pretend to sweep the floor, how KPC she is.

Rachel and hubby have good sleep the whole afternoon while i just sit on sofa and start checking my emails and read some news as usual. Had the dinner at taiwanese restaurant followed by a quick grocery shopping at Jusco. My day ended with early sleep as we all were very tiring.

This morning wake up around 8am and feeling a bit uncomfortable and weak, suddenly i had throw out and my leg muscle started to feel pain. I have light fever ...that prompt me to H1N1 especially since i just travelling back from Msia...hehe. Lucky now i feel much better, so no worry la.

Counting my days left in Lunas before i leave to China, feeling heavy hearted again to say goodbye to my family. This miserable feeling usually happens 2~3 days before i leave.

Back since mid Sep and Rachel definately the one who enjoys the most for this trip as she speaks more than before, have fun playing with her cousin brother Albert and my families. I think she will feel lonely again when we back in China, sorry dear but this is life.

I love handmade soap, why? The simple reason is the commercial soap left my skin dry after use, handmade soap on the other hand is rich, moisturizing, soothes and softens the skin. I have recently ordered the handmade soup from the internet and i feel good about it.

Back Msia

Back Msia since last saturday, very excited seeing family and able to update my blog again.
Have not been able to do so in China due to China gov has banned the facebook, blogger..etc for their internal security reason. To me it was totally no speech freedom for their people, poor thing!

Oh, you may wonder who is the guy in the photo. He is my cousin Justin who was here couple days ago and we took the photo together. He is a nice and cute guy, yoga instructor ya.

1 anniversary for Sichuan Earthquake

May 12, 2008 was a painful day for all the Chinese in China because this day the desvastating earthquake had left 87,000 people missing or dead. It happened 3 months before China hosted the Olympic games and it really cost them so much efforts and resouces for the rescue works but they still couldn't save all the peoples as some were missing.

It was indeed a horrible disaster that happened on sudden and hundred thousand of people lost their home and loved one just in a few seconds. Now a year after, people has started their new life and the rebuild plan still going on and it will probably takes many years to be accomplished, but it brings hopes for the Sichuan people to continue their life. Life has to go on, right?

Mother's Day

In the past, this day didn't bring much meaning to me, other than i always felt it was meant for my mum. After i gave birth to Rachel and myself be a mother then i feel i have another special day for celebration other than my birthday and Valentines Day.

This year nothing much happened after i became a full time mother. The day started with late breakfast so i should called it brunch at McD (I always love it) where Rachel seems enjoyed herself playing the toy from her kid meal while eating the corn, nuggets and fries. After that we been to the nearest bookstore to kill our time, it has little corner for toys shopping but we didn't get anything for her as she has too much.

Before back we stopped at Starbuck for coffee since hubby was offering me one...HEHE. He said on this special day he would like to have me a nice coffee for me to enjoy, how sweet he was.

We were too full for entire afternoon and dinner was taken place at Kodomo Japanese Restaurant again as other restaurants seems full house, but the food were great! I love them all....well, after the food i felt guilty again as i was full. Called mum to wish her happy mothers day, she was excited, so did i. I think i will be more gladful if i received the greeting from Rachel one day in future, right?

Hubby got me a bread maker, that would mean i can start to have my home made bread....hooray!!

Acute bronchitis

Have not really have time to blog these days, since we back in China after KL trip, hubby was on diarrhea for couple days and after he recovered i was the one who caught a cold. Unfortunately Rachel got it from me, she cough and one day in the middle of night she started to delevoped high fever on sudden, when we took her to nearest hosp for blood test, result shows that she got acute bronchitis! Poor child, again she is sick and we were so worried as she cried almost every 1 hour during the night as she couldn't enjoyed good sleep. I believe her blocking nose and coughing made her feel unbearable.

One thing i don't really like about the treatment in local hospital is the doctor keen on giving infusion rather than medicine. The infusion is always painful and terrified to the kid as needle involved.

Rachel now get rid of the fever, just the cough left, i think it will take next several days to cure. She lost her appetite again since she caught a cold, as a mother i am sure very concern about this. I really hope she would back to normal again, very soon.

It was tough for first day because Rachel was crying several times throughout the night, i know she feel uncomfortable and pain. I couldn't sleep well because i was worried for her blood test report as i would really hope nothing serious on her.

We have waited since morning till around 2pm then the doc came and told us that her blood report show negative for Chikungunya disease, how relief we were when we heard that. The only thing that bothers us was her fever seems drop from first night but up again the next day. Again, day after doctor has recommended another blood test for dengue, waited 2 hours later and been told the result is negative, thanks god!! Her fever seems going up and down, so another blood test need to be done for Dengue, and result revealed in 2 hours later and shown negative. Again, i feel much relief that she wasn't with Chikungunya nor Dengue.

The next day we found that Rachel has red rashes over her cheek, both hands and legs. It is so obvious especially on her cheek and make her looks odd to people. Everyone was asking what happened to her, we have no clue but waiting for doctor to tell us. It is due to her allergic reaction for the antibiotics she taken and it will take several days to fade off and disappear.

After 4 nights admission, doctor finally allowed Rachel to be discharged home. She was rather excited to be able to go home but again she was crying when the nurse were trying to say goodbye to her....HAHA.

Back in Malaysia is absolutely a wonderful feeling because there is a home waiting for me, my family are always there for me.

The trip is very different from our regular trip back because Rachel was admitted to hospital due to viral infection that cause her had high fever, red spot on her body and weak movement as she experience muscle paint. Brought her to nearest child clinic on last Wed after i notice she behave unusual inactivate after she wake up in the morning, she refuse to walk and unable to stand by herself! She became fussy, crying all times and her body temperate was high tough. Doctor suggested to admit her to hosp for further checking as she was first suspected with Chinkungunya, a typical mosquito bites related disease.

Rushed her to LHE Hospital and waited for nearly an hour later to be our turn, after explaining to doctor, he told us Rachel needs to be admitted for blood and urine test to ensure what actually happened to her.

It was a tough night because after we done the admission procedure it was already closed to 10pm, nurse brought us to the Single ward that we requested, it was quite spacious, with a plasma TV, refrigerator, closet..etc. First thing to do is for Rachel to have blood sample taken by nurse for the diagnosis. It wasn't easy task because she was extremely terrified when nurse put her lay on bed and wrap her so that she couldn't move. She was crying badly and screaming No No for nonstop and keep yelling "Mii..miii" while looking at me. I know she wanted me to get her out of the pain but for her own good, i have to let nurse to do it despite painful. For that moment, i feel painful in my heart seeing Rachel crying and struggling so badly as nothing i can do other than just comfort her and hold her in my arm tight.

An hour later nurse started their routine to give her oral medicine and injections, again she was crying badly. She threw out the medicine again and again even we have to force her. She was crying till she feel strengthless and tiring and fall asleep.

I will back home tomorrow, schedule to fly for first time from Macau to Pg directly by AirAsia as we managed to get ourselves booked on super attractive fare! What awaits me? I think nothing other than busy packing the luggage and sending out outstanding items to my buyer as it has been delayed.

Anyway, back in Msia especially my home in Lunas makes me feel good. Mum & grandma usually will check what food i been thinking to have then they will fulfill my wish...how sweet they are! What i really miss is as family we able to sit down and enjoy meal and chat non stop. As been living in China for couple years i have not back for tomb sweeping day for quite sometimes, and this year i would make it, isn't that great? First time for Rachel as well, i am sure she will be running around the cemetary due to her curiousity of what people will be doing.

Another friend sent email to inform me that my friend who in ICU been suspected with bird flu. Although she is still unconcious in ICU but according to doctor she has better improvement compared to yesterday. Really feeling much relief after hearing that....and really hoping she will get well very soon.

A bad news passed to me from a friend in Lunas that another female friend of mine is now coma at Island Hospital. I was shocked when i received the SMS and keep telling myself that this can't be true. I was told she earlier had dengue (it rains most of the times now in Msia) so she had developed fever and it seems the fever becoming worsen till it last for several days and on Tues her family found her lip and face turn into purple color then rushed her to hosp immediately.

Doc found she been infected by unknown virus that affected her brain cells and liver and for once her heart beat was stopped and after rescue from doctor it resume (Thanks God). I'm so worrying about her and hoping there won't be something bad happens to her as her family needs her and all this is too sudden for everyone. Nothing i could do but just pray for her revive from coma and get well very soon. I know she is now in critical situation but i hope she will be strong and determined to get through this.

March 8, Happy Woman's Day! I had never aware of thsi day after i been in China as company will release all the female staff for 1/2 day off, and last year i remember comp was kind enough to present everyone female staff with a rose, how lovely it was.

Haircut for Rachel

Brought Rachel out for her first haircut in China as her hair is getting longer plus the other reason was she very reluctant to let me tie her hair, so hubby and i came into consensus agreement that shorten her hair is best for her. We took her to the regular hair saloon that hubby used to visit and his favourite hairstylist No.2 ....HAHA.

Rachel was unable to sit quietly on the chair so hubby had to carry her in his arm while let the hairstylist to start the cut. She cut the fringe flat short and end up we didn't like her new look, very pai kuah!! The new hair style makes her looks like silly girl...HAHA, but i think after few days when we get used to it then should be fine. After all she always looks beautiful in our eyes, since she is our daughter right?

Hubby is out for business trip for several days so during his absence i have to look after Rachel all by myself, definately this would be very tough task for me but this is not the first time for me. As we do not have maid, i have to cover all the duties and routines. Hopefully the days will past faster to save me from troubles.

Didn't blogging regularly these days, dunno what to write as nothing interesting happens around me, everyday seems to be pretty much like a routine life for me, wake up, housekeeping, prepare lunch, feed Rachel, make her sleep, continued the housekeeping, prepare dinner, make her sleep..etc. Am i sound like a maid rather than a mother? I think this is the real life of full-time mother that i cannot complaint about.

Weather is getting warmer after CNY, i have already packed my winter coats and clothes into the box and replace with short sleeves and spaghetti top and short pant, same for Rachel. Although now is considering Spring, but it is more like Summer day. That would indirectly means the sweating days will come soon.....ouuuuchhh, that's what i hate the most.

Cancel the plan to visit Bro TN in Shanghai due to delay of my receiving goods to be shipped back to Msia for my blogshop trading...hehe, although not earning as much as my salary in the past, but at least i have some $$$ rather than zero income right? Sometimes i just wonder should i look for new job or continue as SAHM (Sit At Home Mother), only God knows la!

End of CNY, comes Valentines Day

CNY ended by 9th Feb, which is the last day of CNY celerations. Nothing special for us but i guess what cheers me most was the firecrackers again as i could remember after dinner around 7pm, the firecrackers seems non stop till midnight. I think that reminds people CNY comes to end.

Next day 10th Feb, it was actually our 3rd wedding anniversary. No special celebrations as we are not into the mood of doing this, what we did was eat out at the nearest restaurant. Rachel was boring watching us eating so she played with the spoon and bowl, and end up she broke the bowl. The restaurant charged us RMB5 as compensation.

Hubby went to Taipei on business trip yesterday and scheduled to back home tomorrow evening. The day without him at home to help me look after Rachel is quite tough, but i think i still manage to take care of her, prepare the food, housekeeping, laundry, make her sleep..etc. I am not a perfect mum, but i think i do my best and give us all my loves and cares. These days she kind of addicted to the children DVD that we bought for her. When she feel like to watch, she will get your attention and point at the DVD player and said "BB", that's her way of expression that understood to me that she is asking for DVD.

Valentines day will comes, hubby did asked what i wanted as the present but i have nothing on my mind indeed. After all, we have stopped celebrate this day for many years, even long before Rachel was born. Like people said, every day is Valentines day if you are being loved and loved someone.....hmm, i must agreed on this statement.

Last night i received an IM from an ex-colleague who i have not hear from for quite sometimes, i feel almost like ages ago....HAHA. I actually bought a new novel last week together with bro TN when we shop at Book City near my apartment. The book caught my attention immediately, may be because of the title and after i read the summary at the back cover i decided to buy it. The author is Alice Sebold as you could see from the photo above.

Now i'm at chapter six, of cause i do not really have spare time to read it every day but i try to read at night especially midnight before i went to bed after Rachel sleeping.

It is the story of a teenage girl who, after being brutally raped & murdered, watches from heaven as her family and friends go on with their lives, while she herself comes to terms with her own death. The girl was called Susie Salmon, she was raped and killed by the neighbour Mr.Harvey....etc

When i finish the novel i will write more then. Suddenly i thought of my friend in Austria, Simone Baldauf. I just wonder how she doing now and how's her x'mas celebration. Misses her very much and awaiting for her email.

These days i feel like i am getting lazier, do not know why but there's a feeling that i could do better, or be a better one but i didn't. Am i confuse you? I hope not as i know sometimes i am pretty freaky....HAHAHA.

What 2008 meant for me?

Well, a few things prompted on my mind. Rachel turned into 1 year old officially by Oct 2, 2008. Now she is close to 16 months old, she is handful than we would expect, and i started to realise it is not easy to be a mother, especially a good mother to her.

I decided to quit my full time job as personal assistant by end of June 2008, it is not an easy decision to go with but at the end i still choose to leave where several factors i had to consider like visa restriction, company relocation & Rachel. As of today, i have been a full time mother for 7 months! Time passes very fast and it is just like a glimpse of year and now is already the last day of Jan 2009, how fast! Today is the 6th day of CNY, and i think most people will resume work on coming Monday, i just wonder have you had enough CNY off?
As for me, i am on permament off till i got the next job, probably not as i might continue as full time mother, who knows? Hehehe...

A closed family friend had car accident and passed away on Dec last year. It was horrible and sad for everyone who knows her as she was known as a very kind, friendly and modest person. I think she is now rest in peace in heaven watching her family to go through their life without her.

The recent Bali trip was really good and i can't described by words. I enjoyed every single moment spent with my husband, daughter and bro who went along with us. It was our very first family oversea trip, i hope we could have something similar this year too!

Just hope that year 2009 would always be a better year, for me and for everyone.

Today is 5th day of CNY and what i have been doing for past few days especially this year is the first in my life time not celebrating CNY in Malaysia.

On the CNY eve afternoon i was busy preparing the ingredients for the CNY eve dinner. Bro TN had decided to spend his CNY with us from 25-29 Jan. As i am not a pro cook, so i just prepare a simple dinner like gong bao chicken, mixed vege, seafood soup, and thai green curry. I hope hubby, Rachel and bro TN have enjoyed my food. After the food we went down to the street hoping to get the last minutes good bargain on the plant but unfortunately the stalls has all closed! I guess people just like us, all rushed back for their reunion dinner. Firecrackers were almost anywhere and everywhere, and this is very different in Malaysia where the government has forbidded the firecrackers but in China it is legal and it is one of the must have for big celebration like CNY days.

Bro TN had bought some firecrackers i think cost RMB5 per each, but end up he complaint is it different from he thought as he wanted those can shoot up high...HAHA. We even went to the Jusco just to see if they are still operating, but the entire mall just like empty!

Back home watching TV programme while chatting, where it is closed to 12am, the noise of firecrackers seems like non-stop and all of us were standing at the balcony to see the beautiful scene of firecrackers. It is like so close to us and it is just like right in front of us!

Wake up late in the next morning, first thing hubby did was giving the red packet to both Rachel and bro TN...HAHA. I don't think Rachel knows what's the meaning of red packet but at least she knows how to receive the red packet correctly with showing both her hand. For bro TN i think this is his only red packet for CNY. We have lunch out at one of the chinese restaurant in Jusco mall, it is called "江南厨子" the food was delicious. After the food was the shopping time for bro TN as i can't find any specific items i like other than just a few nail polish.

After the shopping we back home for dinner as i prepare some simple and leftover dinner from last night. We chatted till 2am before went to sleep.

2nd day of CNY we been to Shenzhen Museum, and surprising it is free entrance. I didn't notice there's a museum in Shenzhen until an ex-colleague told me that. It is located the heart of downtown around Futian. The museum is said to have around 20,000 pieces of cultural relics, and a lot of accient art treasures showing the 5000 years of civilization of China and how its development for past time. It really opens my eyes especially when i see famous pieces like terra cotta army"兵马俑" the clay figure of soldier buried with the dead royal families back in accient time. I think if i have the chance to go to Xian and see the entire terra cotta army pieces it would be life long experience and memory for me. How wish i could go one day.

Bro TN and hubby went for the body massage after the museum visit while Rachel and i were waiting at home. We played and watched her favourite kid DVD in order to kill the time while waiting for both them back home before we head out for dinner. Late dinner at one of the restaurant in Jusco (again?) specialised in portugese food.

The next day we have taken bus from Shenzhen Bay border to Kowloon Hong Kong. The bus ride took around 45 mins and direct stop at bus terminal under The Element shopping mall. I think bro TN enjoyed the shopping here as it has many brands to choose from. We have our late lunch at a restaurant specialised in vietnam & thai food but the food didn't really impress us much as the taste wasn't really authentic for us. I can see a lot of shops were actually on big sales and i manage to get myself some clothes from Zara (one of my fav brand). We took the 6pm bus back to Shenzhen, and i guess bro TN was extremely tired, he almost fall sleep immediately after he get on the bus....HAHA, his battery seems low and dead.

After we back home and short rest we been to Shenzhen Book City near our apartment. Bro TN bought a few CDs and i manage to get 2 books (1 novel and 1 motivation related reading material) and 1 baby eistein DVD for Rachel (this is her 3rd Baby Eistein series).

Yesterday Bro TN flied back to Shanghai.......i have prepared an early lunch for him before he leaved us. I think Rachel notice her uncle is gone again....HAHA, but nevermind we will be in Shanghai during labour day holidays.

Amazing!

How excited i was when i heard 1,2,3,4,5,6 from Rachel this evening when she slipped out this while she was playing by herself. It is so real that she really picks up what we been saying and repeating to her everyday!

Good job Rachel, i am proud of you.

My next target is the potty training as we really want to say goodbye to diaper and get her to use the toilet. We have bought her a potty in cartoon character but unfortunately Rachel thought that's a toy instead of a potty.

CNY coming in a week time

Less than a week to go before CNY comes, this year will be special for me as we decided not to return to Malaysia but remains in China during CNY holidays. Bro TN earlier has suggested we go to Saigon or Chiangmai for vacation but end up we called off the plan as we just back from Bali vacation, better we save some $$ for other vacation plans for this year.

Bro TN finally compromise and agreed to visit us on CNY eve and we will be having the reunion dinner at home. I will be the one who's going to prepare the dinner...hmmm, a bit pressure as i am not a good cook, but i think i can handle it. I'm still wondering what to cook on the eve, anything simple and yet delicious would be good.

Streets here are decorated with red lanterns and many flower markets available. Last 2 nights we went out for short walk after dinner at the market just to see what's in there as we never been to the flower market. As usual, it is crowded with people, and people selling almost everything and anything relates to CNY from plants, food, home deco and etc. I actually used to my iphone to snap a few photos but unfortunately it didn't work well for night shoot. The photos were all blur and shaky, too bad, thus cannot share here.

We plan to get some plants on the eve night as the price would be more reasonable at that time. Dunno how grandma will deco the home this year, but i can imagine these days she has been very busy for the CNY preparations till her blood pressure reach 180 in reading!

Almost a week plus after we back in China from the Bali vacation, the weather seems cold than before. Every day need to put on sweater even at home, and i notice my skin become extremely dry. The cold weather seems doesn't impact her much, i guess she pretty much enjoying it rather than sweating, i know she hates that.

Goodbye Bali, Helo KL

Last day in Bali after 3 nights stay, time to leave and that would means our vacation ends. Bali has beautiful beach, strong Hinduism culture and influence into people's living, delicious food and what most impressed me was their people are nice and friendly. It is a good place for those seeking relax and calm mind for their trip, also recommended for the honeymood trip too. One thing must try is the massage and spa, worth for money!

Our flight depart around 3:30pm leaving Denpasar to Kuala Lumpur, we touched down around 6:30pm and from LCCT to hotel it took us around an hour after the bus we ride was broke down half way, we decided to go on with cab rather than wasting time to wait. When we arrived at home it was already closed to 9pm, late check in and tiring for all of us. Hubby was taking care Rachel in the hotel while TN and i went to Chinatown to have dinner and brought the dinner back for him to enjoy at hotel.

The next morning our first mission is heading to China embassy which is located next block to the hotel for the visa application. We only granted for 6 months multiple entries but that's good enough for us. After visa application, we went out for shopping for almost entire day from Lot10, Sg.Wang plaza, Berjaya Times Square to Suria KLCC. I last been to KL in 2005, KL seems rapid development that i dun think i would like to stay here for living because i do not like the feeling of pack, crowded and hurry.

TN leave us in the early morning heading to KLIA for his return to Shanghai, while after we collected the visa in the morning we booked our return flight to Penang in the afternoon. KL trip was short and rush, i feel like to come again for shopping, just wonder when it would be.

Bali - Day 3

On the 3rd day, we had decided not to visit many destinations like day before, so we only plan to go to Kuta city for quick tour. Kuta is a busy and bustling city that famous for the nightlife as many restaurants, pubs, shoppings, galleries are there.

We headed out to Kuta around 11am and it takes abt 45 mins car ride to there. It was hot and sunny and the traffic was so congested. When we reached Kuta city we all were hungry so we get into the restaurant and order our lunch. If i remember correctly TN was having special nasi campur, while had curry chicken rice and hubby had the mee jawa. Rachel has her kidie meal too...haha.

It took us a long walk to Poppi Lane 2, but seems we didn't actually walked to it....The weather was hot and sunny, and walking under the sun seems get all of us tanned and irritated. We finally gave up on walking and grab a cab...how comfortable to jump in a car with cold air, no sweating no walking, how relax it was. The driver told us the traffic in Kuta city always jammed, especially during holidays and weekend. We wanted to go to Hard Rock Cafe to get some thing but due to bad traffic, we decided to head back to resort for rest.

Dinner was done in a small restaurant not too far from our resort, but the food was ok only. Before we ordering the food, Rachel spotted a little white boy next to our table, she hold him and touch him for a couple times, i guess the boy must had shocked and finally he cried. Oh...hubby was apologizing to the father of the boy, but he said nothing wrong, just his son is not ready for female yet...HAHA. The boy is same age as Rachel, but he is 5 months older than her, but they both seems the same height. The father of the boy said Rachel seems big...HAHA.

After dinner we waited at the department for resort shuttle to pick us back to resort. Hubby already had his massage appointment done, so the car would be picking him up for his massage session while it was my turn to look after Rachel while he away. Rachel didn't make too much noise and she went on bed pretty early. TN was in my room for beear with me and Rachel cried and wake up from sleep, may be she had bad dream. TN was tired and he went back to his room for rest, and after get Rachel sleep myself also went to bed and started my dreamland.

End of day 3

Bali – Day 2

Day 2 started with morning buffet breakfast at the resort after we woke up late around 9am. When we were at the cafeteria and we notice majority of the in house guests were foreigners from US or Europe, with minority from Japan, Korea and some from Indonesia.

We have booked a driver who charged us RP400,000 for a day ride to 3 destinations. First stop was the Bali Museum, ticket for 3 adults cost us RP3,000. The museum is small in scale, and in fact nothing much that caught our attention other than some Balinese traditional customs. We just had a quick tour on the museum before we leave to the art market to get some souvenirs for family.

Driver was kind enough to bring us to the art market that selling on reasonable prices. First thing caught my attention was the fragrant soap, so i choose one from cinnamon and one is mango. The 2nd thing i looked around was the swimsuit for Rachel as we didn’t prepare the swimwear for her, lucky spot one for her. Not forgetting the batik sarung for grandma, TN has bought more stuff than i did as he wanted to get some souvenirs for himself and his co-workers in Shanghai office too.

After i the shopping we heading to Jimbaran Uluwatu, it took us an hour car ride to the temple which was built in high cliff overlooking the Indian Ocean. Before entering the temple we are require to buy the ticket and put on the sarung (free rental) for both male and female, especially for those are not properly dressed. The driver also reminded us to take off our sunglasses and do not hold any food on our hand. Why? Reason was the temple is inhabited by large number if monkeys, who like to snatching visitor’s belonging, most of the visitor are holding a stick or the branches just to protect themselves in case the monkeys has gone wild.

From top of the temple we could actually oversee the beautiful blue ocean and it was windy. Most people were busy taking photos for the great scene they have seen, including us. The driver offered to take a family photos for us, how nice!

Half way our visit, suddenly we heard someone was screaming! HAHA…the monkey has snatched his sunglasses and immediately climbing on the tree and refuse to give back. Now i have to believe what the driver has told us as it happened just in front of me. I saw a local was giving a pack of peanuts to the monkey for exchange, then the monkey throw the sunglasses off from the tree. Needless to say, rewarding to the monkey has actually encourage them to steal more, and i believe this has already became their habit.

A few local and Japanese tourist were playing with Rachel, she was happy and enjoy meeting new people. I had snapped some photos for her with her dad, to be uploaded soon.

After the visit, we decided back to the resort as we were out for almost the entire day, we were tired. It took another hour for the ride back to the resort. Driver has suggested us a great place for spa and massage, and after we check the price we found it quite reasonable and immediately we made the booking for 8pm to be picked up from resort for myself and TN. Hubby was taking care Rachel in the hotel and he went on the same treatment the next day (to take turn). We choose the 2 hours massage & spa, cost RP350,000 per person. I would said it worth for the price as i really enjoy the Balinese massage,body scrubbing and the spa!!!

When we back to resort, hubby and Rachel already went to bed. I guess they both were tiring too.

End of Day 2

Bali – Day 1

Hubby and i earlier planned for vacation at Chiangmai but due to political unstable and riots seems almost everywhere in Bangkok thus we called off the plan to Chiangmai and changed it to Bali.

We went for Airasia GoHolidays package that includes the hotel and air ticket. We choose the Mercure Resort that has direct access to the beach although it may sound a bit expensive but i would said it worth for the price we paid! Before we went for the holidays bro TN was nagging at us on why we booked such an expensive rate but after his 3 nights 4 days stay in Mercure Resort he finally has to admit he likes the resort and the environment it has.

Our first day in Bali started with an early wake up on 5am as we leave home around 5:45am for TN to catch his morning flight at 7am with Malaysia airlines while we took AirAsia departing 8:10am from Penang to LCCT, KL for transiting. It is actually my first time with AirAsia, Malaysia premier budget airlines that comes with slogan “ everyone can fly”. After we check in our luggage then we been given our boarding pass which may be very different from ordinary boarding pass we get from other carriers. AirAsia boarding pass more looks like a pieces of printed receipt, surprised me. Since it is running on low cost concept, so i would take it as impressive on the other point of view. As we still have plenty of time i suggested to have our breakfast at McD to get ourselves some food as AirAsia flight do not serve any meal, they rather sell in on the flight. The flight to LCCT, KL took about 50 mins, pretty much on time but it was long waited to claim the luggage before we could check in for our connecting flight from LCCT to Denpasar, Bali. The flight to Bali took us about 3 hours, Rachel was once losing her patient and making noise. I think she might be feeling uncomfortable for sitting on the seat for long hours. When we about to touch down at Denpasar Airport i open the window shade and what caught my attention when i look down was the blue ocean and clear water i could see from the plane. I have snapped a few photos although i knew it is prohibited to use some electronic devices while boarding, how bad i was ya.

After we clear the custom checking & claiming our luggage we finally walked out from the arrival hall but couldn’t locate bro TN as we had no idea where he was but we knew he had arrived earlier than we did. SMS him but finally he was walking towards our direction and i spotted him. After we grab the cab then we heading to Mercure Resort as we all were curious to see it for ourselves how the resort looks like. It took us about 20 mins to resort and cost us RP100,000 (which = RM30). The staff are generally very friendly and kind. TN was staying next to our room, which is convenient for us to walk to him and vice versa. The room comes with regular facilities like hotel, and it has a balcony that we could view the surrounding of the resort, where you could see a lot of trees, flowers, guests walking on the pedestrian area heading to the swimming pool or beach for their water activity, that’s what i liked the most other than direct access to beach.

After a short rest & get ourselves ready, we had our lunch at resort rather than going out as we were tiring. First thought of having buffer lunch but since it is over 3pm, they have stopped serving buffer so we just ordered from the menu. The food quite ok and Rachel was throwing her food all over the baby chair, how bad she was.

After the late lunch we took the free shuttle service from resort to nearest department store to get some groceries.

The dinner was taken place at the restaurant just right opposite the resort, it is called Tude’s if i am not mistaken. The food serving was slow, but i must admit their food especially the Balinese cuisine is very very much delicious and the taste is good!!! After the food, we just back to resort rather than going out as we all were tiring….feeling to stay at the room rather than hanging out somewhere outside.

Bali – my vacation

Bali & KL trip ended in a glimpse of eyes, and this noon we took AirAsia back in Penang. I am yet to really have time to sit down and update my blogs and sharing the photos that i took during the trip. I will get this done ASAP.

Today is the last day in 2008, a lot of things happened this year and i hope 2009 would be a better year for everyone. HAPPY NEW YEAR to all the people i known, especially my closed families and friends.

Can't wait for 20 Dec to come as tomorrow will be my returning day to Malaysia after i left on Nov 11. Since the afternoon hubby and i were start packing our stuff and he keep reminds me not forgetting the camera. Why? That's because we will snap a lot of photos for our coming Bali trip. I'm really looking forward for the trip!!!! These days i been searching around the net for some travel guide in Bali, i can see a lot of attractions, food, recommeded actitivities. It seems it is a good choice for vacation, i will share more after my return.

Bro TN will be back to Malaysia too, we back on the same day, he is schedule to arrive Penang Airport around 6pm, i will be 6:45pm, so he gonna wait for us la. Bro TS will pick us up, i got to remind him to drive big car else cannot get all the luggages fit into...as i bought many things back :p

Today is already thursday, another 2 days to go before we leave back to Malaysia for x'mas and Bali for our family vaction. Well, i am pretty much looking forward for this.

What cheer me up today is i happen to chat with my best friend in KL this afternoon, and i have congrat him to be a father soon as his wife is now pregnant for 4 months! We chatted for quite a while and we talked about business, trading..etc. Who knows we could come out with a business solution or partner one day right?

X'mas is coming, i have bought Simone a x'mas card but i had forgotten to post out and time is ticking. I dun think if i post it now it will reach Austria before x'mas. Oh sorry, i think e-card will reach her fast in this case. How i get know Simone? If i remember correctly we started as penpal, then we exchange email and we had chatted live over skype before but due to our time differences, it is not easy for us to bump into each other over the net. She is Austrian, and her boyfriend Thomas has been together with her for almost 10 years i guess. I miss her a lot, i am gonna check my mailbox later and see if she writes me anything.

Received a bad news couple days ago, one of our family frined passed away after a 10 wheel truck roller over her head and body. She died on the spot, it just happened in 10 seconds time. Life is really short, anything could happens, anytime, anywhere. This minute you may find yourself still walking on the street, next time you would be a dead body laying on the road. Until today i still couldn't believe that this is true, how could a person's life ended in such way especially a person who is so kind and being loved by everyone? Only God knows why he taken her life.............

These days i seldom update my blog, a little bit lazy and furthermore i been busy with my personal stuff. We are preparing to travel back to Malaysia this weekend and going to Bali island for our family vacation for very first time.

I didn't had honeymoon trip to anywhere right after our wedding and a year later Rachel was born. Now she is 14 months old, going to be 15 months old soon and she can walk by her own and it is time for family vacation. We had choosen Chiangmai at first but due to political unstable condition in Thai, we finally switch our plan to Bali. I really looking for this trip but at the same time i feel terrify as Bali were bomb blasted twice by terrorist over past few years. Safe or not safe? I dunno, only God knows but i hope everything will be smooth and wonderful as i thought.

Lunch with friends

Few days ago i got a call from Terry, an ex-colleague from Power One telling me he would be in Shekou office this week and wanted to have lunch together. I have been always wanted to have lunch with Terry and Cherry so we finally make it today.

This morning i woke up around 8am as usual, feed Rachel and change her diaper then i started my daily routine like sweep and clean the house, laundry and get the dinner ready around 11am as i need to leave home half past 11 to catch the bus to meet them at Walmart. After get Rachel shower i take a quick shower and change myself and leave home to meet them.

Arrived walmart and waited for 10 mins then finally get a call from Terry saying they have arrived and we meet at Garden City. I was really excited when i see both them again as i last seen them in June, they both still very much the same, not much difference that i could possibly notice. Cherry has got married in Sep, and i could seen a wedding ring on her finger, happy life now. Terry complaint about having to work in Baoan, but no choice. Lunch was taken place at ShenJi, the dim sum restaurant. We have ordered quite a lot of food and chat from A-Z.....while eating we chat about P1, about Rachel, about my life...etc.

Times passess very fast, when it comes to 1.30pm i have reminded that they pobably need to back to work. I was thinking to foot the bill but Terry was kind enough to treat us as he said he has won some money from last night mahjong games with friends...HAHA. Free meal.....

After saying goodbye to them, i head to walmart for some grocery shopping. My grocery shopping was done in 20 mins time after i get some fresh meat, fish, detergent..etc. Back home and Rachel was there to smile at me and hug me, what else i could say right?

A touching drama

I didn't have much time watching tv since my daughter was born, she been occupied most of my time. Furthermore when we back in China, my in-law is the one who occupies the TV almost the etire day, how piss!

Well..yesterday i just happened to sit down and watch the local drama seriel called 暖春, don't ask me what's the english name cause i have no idea at all. If i translate directly then it probably means "warming spring"? Is that right????

The story is really touching, and knowing what ever since i watch this drama, i find myself crying and weeping while following this drama. Everytime the young actress cries, i also cry...she cry i cry...hahahaha. So far this is the only local drama which trigger my interest and i really feel it touches my heart and it brings a lot of good means to me.

So if you ask me what i do these days at night, my answer would be crying...HAHAHAHA.

Friends asking me what i have been doing these days after i back to China.

Well, my life remains pretty much, not much differences compares to life in Malaysia. I think the only difference is when i was in Msia i do not need to do the housework & cooking, but here i do. Although my culinary skill isn't pro enough but i still can handle the lunch and dinner for my family. Sometimes i find i love cooking and always wanted to learn more cuisine. The rest of my times mainly spent on looking after Rachel & internet, no TV as my home TV been occupied, too bad!

I have yet to start looking for job, may be i am getting lazier, but the true fact is i don't think now is right time as economy doesn't seems on the track, and a lot of retrenchment & factories closed down here. I started to look into some trading and who knows i can have more than i could expect & explore a new pathway for myself rather than a 9-5 office job right? Life always full of hopes, i belived.

I wasn't able to update my blog for past few days due to the China ISP was blocking blogger.com for some reasons. I decided to try again today and i think i'm relief to find out now i'm able to access and do my usual blogging again...hooray.

These days the weather in Shenzhen seems quite consistent, average the temp is range between 15-24 celcious, so i find it quite comfortable especially for outing. I do not sweat at all, that's what i enjoy the most to be honest.

Nothing new happens to me, still stay at home and looking after little Rachel. Sometimes i will cook for the family especially after i get bored with what prepared by my in-laws. Her food almost make me puke as i cannot bear eating the same thing for monday to friday, day and night. When i highlighted this to hubby, his regular response is asking me to bear with it cause no big deal. May be to him he enjoys his mum's food very much but not for me especially to me food should be variety and not just restricted into certain categories only.

Forget about her food, i already gave up. Rachel is having her new tooth growing, and as a reason of that, she keeps drooling these days. Now she could walk more steadily without support, which is good for her. But one thing is ever since we back here she would cried for a few times in the midnight.

I got visitor

Yesterday someone visited me...and surprised it was actually my former nanny. She is indeed a very nice and smart lady who in her mid 30s. She is petite and came from Guilin, she left her husband and 2 kids, aged 8 and 3 at her hometown to earn a living in Shenzhen.

I was quite happy seeing her because at least someone talks to me, other than my husband. My mum-in-laws basically does not talk to me, the only time when she talks to me was about the TV, for example: help to turn the volume loud, why no display and so on. Well, i am like living with a stranger at home which piss me off most of the times, but my husband expects me to bear with it, how unfair is that?

Well, forget about my in-laws, my nanny is now under employment with someone else and her work is tough as she needs to take care of their son, who is 8 years old now, but unfortunately he is half paralyzed & weak sighted. Everyday she needs to bring him to the fisiotheraphy center for some training, which is not easy as the distance is far and it is long hours too.

I asked her to stay for dinner with us, hubby suggested to eat out at one of my favourite korean restaurant. She is kind enough to help me shower Rachel and feed her some rice before we went out for dinner. Dinner was great, we have the Korean steamboat and some side dishes. After dinner, we went back home straight and it was already 8pm. Rachel was too excited to get over sleep, she was a bit relunctant to get on bed while she knows nanny still around and chatting with hubby at the living room...she gets busybody again. She finally get into sleep after nanny leave around 9pm.

These days the weather in SZ is getting windy especially in the morning and night, this is what i have been expected but seems like this year it is a bit delayed. Although no snowing in SZ but overall i still enjoy the winter season where i have less sweat and feeling comfortable without turning on the fan or air-conditioner.

Winter coming, i have excuses to buy boots & fashinable sweater again....Hooray!

Back in China

Finally return to China for long stay again after leaved in end June due to Visa restriction. Nothing much has changed, everything almost remains as i could possibly notice. The weather is still pretty much like summer day, that's a bit piss me down as i dislike hot & sunny day, i think same for Rachel.

Brought along my mum-in-laws with me back in China this round as she wanted to come and stay with us again. She enjoy good sleep during the flight other than eating, while Rachel managed to catch an hour sleep while flying, thanks God else she will be making a lot of noises as a result of lacking sleep. Poor child that she needed to wake up as early as 5:45am so that we could leave home to airport by 6:00am with TS sending us. Grandma was a bit sad to see us leaving her again, no choice then.While Rachel sleep in my arm, i manage to get myself a cup of coffee to recharge myself else i would be sleepy. Again this round i didn't enjoy the in-flight meal, stewardess came back and forth asking am i really wanted to skip...haha.

Back home with unpacking my luggage and get Rachel shower and make her sleep, she enjoy her afternoon nap as she was really tiring. Dinner was at Papa John with Pizza, salad and chicken wings & wedges. Rachel was naughty enough to pinch at the waitress who taking our orders for 3 times at her arm. After dinner we went to Walmart next to the restaurant to get some grocery, Rachel saw a girl with long hair so when her dad carry her passed by this lady, she immediately pull her hair...the lady was screaming...Oh My God, she is getting uncontrolled these days, terrible girl.

Everything seems ready on my hand, especially most critical one is China visa, but get it approved and ticket was issued this afternoon….still packing my luggage, not done yet as i need to think what to bring back and not missed out important items.

Started to have the feeling that i didn’t want to back to China as i didn’t really feel excited about this return trip. I think a few factors come in, may be i would miss a lot especially my closed family.

Bro TN called me just now asking am i happy about to return to China, i said NO…hahaha.

These days Rachel likes to learn to walk around, of cause at this morning she couldn’t walk by herself but she needs support from anything that she can hold to toddle around. Now her favorite activity is learning to walk, once put on her shoe she knows what to do next…HAHA.

Her dad bought her a new shoe couple weeks before, she loves the shoe very much, and right now she recognize that “xie xie” referring to shoe.

Today after she wake up in the morning she again wanted to toddle around the house. Once put on her shoe, she will crawl or trying to stand on her own and walks for a few steps, usually just a very short distance walk for her before she fall on her bum.

Read the online news just now and a bit shocked and seems can’t believe that he is freed from the murdering charges. Who i meant? Abdul Razak Baginda, the prime suspect for Mongolian Altantuya Shaariibuu's murder, was freed by the High Court here today.

He and his family would be happy as from this minute onwards, he is a free man, but is that really a fair justice after all? Poor Altantuya who died in bomb blast, i’m sure her family will be disappointed with the verdict over in Mongolia.

Another thing i would like to add up is, the verdict not only giving people heart attack, but making entire world to laugh…LOL!!

Another 1 week

Another 1 week time then i have to leave Malaysia and return to China for long stay, along this trip will bring along my mother-in-laws as she wanted to come and stay with us.

Today i just realize i only have 1 more week left …my China visa still under application, got the ticket booked, what else i forgot? I have listed down a list of items that i need to bring back with me, mostly are Rachel’s belongings.

Bro CK asked me to postpone the return trip till after CNY, but that’s not gonna work out for me, surely hubby will disagreed. That probably will disappoint my in-laws as she been longing to go to China again.

These days papa, aunt Chan and TS likes to snap photos of Rachel with their phones, Rachel enjoys different poses but most of the time it is too difficult to get a nice photo of her. I believe once we gone, the home will be extremely quiet as no one making the noises like she does always.

Sad over a lost of friend…

I’m a bit sad after reading the news link sent by hubby pertaining to his friend who committed suicide after having relationship problem with his wife. I’m sad not only he leaves us forever, but also due to unwise choice he had chosen.

I’m not in his shoe, i do not know exactly what bothered him and what actually happened between him and his wife till he ended his life by taking massive poison. The news reported that he actually filed divorce with his wife 2 days before he suicides. But one thing i can assure is he must be loving his wife very much that he cannot bear losing her after they were together for so many years with 2 child. Relationship can be a sweet thing but once it turns bitter then it hurts you and your heart feels the pain.

Anyway, for me, suicide is not the only solution for any problem u may have, life is a life, try to think of your family or loved one before you react. They love you too!

Vaccine jab..she cries again

These days have not much time to do blogging, reason was Rachel refuse to have her regular noon nap or even she sleep, she wakes up after 30 mins later, unlike in the past she enjoys her nap time.

This evening i brought her for pneumococoal vaccination, she needs 2 doses, today is just the first dose, next appointment will be end of this year (can defer to early next year). CK drove us actually right after he done with his goods delivery to his customers.

As i could expect, once she sees the doctor i can see she started to behave a bit reluctant and once the doctor touch her, she started crying loud again. Need not to further tell whether she cries during the jab…haha.

After the jab, we wanted to go back home as it closed to 7pm. Rachel so stick to CK till she refuse me to carry her. No choice, i drive the car while CK play with her at the back seat :(
